The revised date unavoidably fell in the middle of the holiday season and again plagued with the prospect of further bad weather.

Despite the forbidding omens the turnout was tremendous and rewarded with pleasant weather, until rain stopped play in the early evening. The music by European Steel Pan Champion Samuel Du Bois provided music par excellence. Chefs du partie, Jilan and Rob served up Sarah’s and Austin culinary delights. The raffle was impressive with donations from local businesses and residents.
