messageboards » General Discussion » American Style BrunchSlock wrote on 23 Jan 2010 02:30:01 After trips to NYC and enjoying their amazing brunches, a few of us jammers are making it out mission to find the best and nearest place to eat a true america breakfast in London. The type where you get 4 layers of pancakes with maple syrup, bacon, eggs done anyway you like, unlimited coffee etc. We might have to stick with the greasy cafe breakfast option and keep it for being a treat on our trips to the US, but thought we'd ask incase someone has any recommendations.

mallyt wrote on 01 Feb 2010 08:37:48 I really like the Table - its relaxed and friendly. I went to Joe's Kitchen once, admittedly not for brunch and ordered a burger. Unfortunately they seemed to serve the cheapest frozen inedible piece of minced cow they could find so I never went back. For true American weekend brunch a good choice is Christopher's American Bar & Grill in Covent Garden. Its a bit more formal but has been very good when I have been there. | |
